I shopped around and talked to 3 different solar companies and honestly, PGT Solar was the most responsive. They got back to me immediately, had a very thorough presentation, gave some great counseling regarding batteries, and had information nobody else had as far as the applicability to my house. My niece's husband has also used SunPower, not PGT. I've had a fabulous experience, particularly I had to use the warranty on the roof pretty quickly and everything was taken care of immediately. The installation was smooth and seamless- it was a well oiled machine. The team itself was a group of really delightful young men who were transparent as far as what they were doing. They were efficient and kept me apprised of everything. It was done quicker and more efficiently than I thought it was going to be and that included the roofers that came by and got their job the next day. It was pretty amazing. I was impressed with what they told me about their equipment, I really like that the inverter was on each one of the solar panels and then their warranty was long. I have had a couple of notices regarding the system functionality. Somehow the date is not being recorded. I have a little bit of a problem getting my app to sync with the computer, but like I said, they sent people out and we solved the problem within a short period of time. They do what they say; they get back to you within a timeframe that is reasonable, usually 24 to 48 hours, and it's usually before that that the problems were solved with technicians coming out when they needed to. I have had nothing but immediate responses from the company. Even though the problems I had were big, they responded like they said they would.
